      Third work-meeting
of coordinators from the partner organizations of SEE Tolerance Project took place on 11-12 February 2005 in Hotel Zodiac in the town of Samokov. Organizer and executor of the project is the Centre for Social Work with Youth, Qualification Fund is a partner in the project. In the meeting took part representatives from the following countries: Romania, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Macedonia, Bulgaria and Spain. The program of the project for year 2005 was adopted. It forecasts gathering of information and creating of special publication, called Passport for Tolerance, and series of exhibitions of children’s drawings in the different partner countries, gathered during the initiative.

for forty employees in Water Distribution and Canalisation Company Pleven Ltd. lead Qualification Fund on January 28th 2005. Topics: Law for regulation of water distribution and canalization services; client-orientated approach; telephone-call center; center for services; client service levels in the water sector.

January 20th 2005

      The firs conference
PR in the Utility Sector took place on January 20th, 2005 in Sheraton Hotel, Sofia. Presentations were made by PR specialists from the following sectors: Water Distribution and Canalization, Electricity Distribution, Hot-Water-Heating, Gas Distribution / Gasification, Public Transportation, Telecommunications, as well as subcontractors. Qualification Fund was represented by its Chairman Mr. Anton Valev.

13-15 January 2005

      The third phase of the training
for the Management of Water Distribution and Canalization Company Pleven Ltd. (WDCC) in the common project between WDCC Ltd. and Qualification Fund for building of integrated communication strategy of the company took place on 13-15 January 2005 in the village of Slivek, region of Lovech. The participants listened to the opinion of leading specialists from the engineer branch of the water distribution and canalization services (priorities for evaluation of break downs in water distribution pipe system, methods for evaluation of loses, pressure tests, methods for regulating the pressure in the pipe system, joining structure diversions, evaluation of water distribution in profit areas, water stealing, legalization of structure diversions) and from the sphere of public corporative communication (PR campaigns, telephone-call center; center for services; client service levels in the water sector). The brand new situation of relations between water regulator, water operator and the final customer (the client) was revealed in front of the audience. Simulative games accompanied the specialized training for complains and document-turnover. At the end of the training seminar the management team of Water Distribution and Canalization Pleven Ltd. elaborated out two operative plans – engineer-technical one and communication-informative one. The participants received certificates.
